2MCE-FM is a non-profit enterprise
We exist to provide a service to our community, not to create a profit for any owner or shareholder. Funds raised from the community go back into maintaining and upgrading our facilities for community use along with providing training and volunteer support.
2MCE-FM is operated by volunteers
Our operations are carried out by more than 120 volunteers, and a small core of staff. All local programs are produced by volunteers from our community.
2MCE-FM is independent, diverse and accessible
As a community broadcaster our programming is independent from commercial or government influence. Our programming is characterised by diversity, reflecting the needs and interests of our community rather than commercial concerns. We are accessible to all members of our community who wish to develop skills and enjoy the challenge of broadcasting.
Subscriptions
A subscription is an annual fee paid by supporters of 2MCE-FM. Subscribe now and your money will be helping to maintain things like;
- Operating costs
- Equipment upgrades and new Technology
- Resources and basic Panel & Presenter training
- Access to the airwaves for subscribing community members
- Music and information you don’t get elsewhere
